    Jaunts and Gems, LLC is a full service online travel company that plans travel for individuals and groups. We also create and curate hosted group trips.

  • Is Jaunts and Gems a certified and licensed company? +

    Yes. We are certified with CCRA and hold general liability and E&O Insurance.

  • What are your hours? +

    We are available via email Monday- Thursday from 9 a.m.- 7p.m. and Fridays & Saturdays from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. We are available by phone via appointment. We are closed on Sundays.

  • What destinations do you specialize in? +

    We specialize in Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe.


  • Do I have to make monthly payments? +

    Yes, monthly payments are required in order to keep your reservation current. You can be a part of our convenient automatic withdrawal plan, or opt out and make manual payments on your reservation

  • When are final payments due? +

    Final payments are due 60 days prior to your trip.

  • Do you offer refunds if I can no longer attend the trip? +

    No, we do not provide refunds nor do we transfer money. Each client is required to accept our Terms and Conditions before reservation is accepted. To protect your investment, each and every client is encouraged to purchase travel insurance.

  • What happens after I've paid my deposit? +

    You will receive an email with information to log into your account. Your account will show any payments made as well as your payment plan. You can view your account 24 hours a day.

  • How do I opt-out of the auto-payment plan? +

    You will need to email to be removed from the auto-payment plan. Please remember that if you opt out, monthly payments are still required to keep your reservation current.

  • What happens if I miss a monthly payment? +

    We understand that life happens. If you anticipate that you will not be able to make a payment, please email as soon as possible. If you miss more than 2 monthly payments, your reservation will be cancelled.

  • Do you offer roommate matching? +

    We can offer roommate matching on select trips if available. Roommate matching is NOT guaranteed and will only be done once 75% of the trip is paid.

  • What happens if my roommate drops out and cancels her trip? +

    You will need to find another roommate or pay the additional cost for the room occupancy change.

  • When will I receive the itinerary for the trip? +

    Itineraries will be sent to each client 30 days prior to departure via email.

Individual trips FAQ

  • How do I request to plan a trip? +

    Please visit the Plan a Trip page from the Home menu.

  • What happens once I submit my request? +

    Once you submit your request we will follow up with a price for the planning fee. Once you've paid the planning fee, we will start putting together quotes for your trip.

  • Do you offer payment plans? +

    Yes, payment plans are available on certain itineraries booked at least 75 days prior to departure.

  • What is a typical deposit amount to reserve a trip? +

    For domestic and caribbean destinations, deposits range from $50 pp for packages without airfare to $200 pp for packages with airfare.

  • How long do I have to make a decision on a package? +

    After you've received the quotes, you will have 14 days to decide on a package. After 14 days, you will have to pay a reinstatement fee of $25 before we will continue the planning process. It is best to not start the planning process until you and/or your group are prepared to pay the deposit.

  • When would my final payment be due?

    Final payments are due 50 days prior to departure. There is a two day grace period and then a late fee will be applied. Payments more than 7 days late will result in trip cancellation.

  • Is travel insurance required? +

    Travel insurance is not required but is HIGHLY suggested to protect the investment of your trip.
